Business Hours
Our business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, Central Standard Time. After hours, you may leave a voice mail for our sales department. We will return your call on the next business day. You may fax your order to us at any time.
PAYMENT TERMS
Terms of payment are NET 30 DAYS. An interest charge of 1 1/2% per month will accrue on any unpaid balance over 30 days old. Payments will be applied to interest charges first, then to the oldest outstanding invoice. The payment date is determined by the date the payment is received by our office.
CREDIT
AOS reserves the right to verify credit on all new accounts. If an account is 30 days past due, we reserve the right to change the account to a C.O.D. basis or require prepayment by cashiers check.
DEDUCTIONS
No deductions will be allowed from invoices without prior approval by AOS.
Prices
All prices are subject to change without notice.
PRODUCT DESIGN
AOS reserves the right to make changes in the design and construction of AOS products without prior notice. AOS also reserves the right to discontinue a product or product line without prior notice. All catalog dimensions are considered to be approximate.
LEAD TIMES
AOS will quote a lead time for all orders and will make their best effort to deliver the merchandise within the quoted lead time. AOS will not be responsible for any damage caused by late delivery.
SHIPPING DATE
Orders will be shipped as close as possible to the acknowledged shipping date. AOS will not be liable for delays in shipment or delivery of the order, or for damages claimed to result from such delays.
SHIPPING CHARGES
All customers will pay for the freight on their orders. The AOS shipping terms are FOB our dock.
PARTIAL SHIPMENTS
Partial shipments will be made upon request. The balance of the order will be shipped as soon as the product is available
CANCELLATIONS\ORDER CHANGES
All order cancellations must be approved by the AOS Sales Department. Cancellations on special orders will not be accepted.
TRANSIT DAMAGE
All merchandise is packed in a secure manner. Please inspect all merchandise immediately upon receipt. If a carton appears to be damaged please contact the carrier to inspect the shipment. Notification of concealed damage must be made in writing to the carrier delivering the goods within the time period allowed by the carrier for making such claims. Title to the goods and risk of loss pass to the buyer as soon as the merchandise leaves the AOS dock.
RETURNS
Merchandise returns will not be accepted without prior approval by the AOS Sales Department. There is a 10% restocking fee on all returned orders, with the exception of defective merchandise. All freight charges on returned merchandise must be prepaid by the customer. AOS will not accept collect freight shipments.
WARRANTIES
AOS warrants all steel products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from date of delivery. Wood products are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from date of delivery. Should any product fail to conform within this time period, AOS will correct such nonconformity or defect by replacing or repairing the defective part. This warranty does not include damage from: improper installation or normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear includes dents, nicks, scratches, misuse, improper maintenance, abuse, fire, water, negligent acts, or omissions of the purchaser, it agents or employees, the acts or omissions of any other parties, or any damage or defective conditions which are not the direct result of a defect in the workmanship or materials of the product supplied by AOS.
THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXCEPT THOSE EXPRESSLY SET FORTH ABOVE, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. AOS’S LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO ITS PRODUCTS SHALL NOT EXCEED THAT EXPRESSLY SET FORTH ABOVE IRRESPECTIVE OF THE THEORY UPON WHICH ANY CLAIM MIGHT BE BASED INCLUDING BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, OR STRICT LIABILITY ON TORT. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL AOS BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
This warranty does not apply to damages resulting from shipment, storage, accident, alteration, misuse, assembly or installation. All claims under this warranty must be made in writing prior to the repair or replacement of the product.
